Conference Ambassadors

What is forum legati?

delegatesThe Liverpool Conference Ambassadors programme is known as the forum legati and was introduced to provide support to academics and professionals wishing to host their society or association's conference in the Liverpool City Region. Forum legati is also the 'umbrella' for the Sefton Conference Ambassador Programme, which was launched in March 2007.

The forum legati members include highly respected, influential people from all fields, all of whom typify the definition of an 'ambassador':

"An Ambassador is an enthusiastic and energetic Association member who will actively encourage his/her association to come to the Liverpool City region".

The successful scheme is seen as a benchmark for other destinations wanting to run similar programmes.
